Custom in design, and built for efficiency, its hard not to be inspired by Printmakers Open Forum (PMOF). The space makes you want to create and get your hands dirty with ink as soon as you walk in.

The studio  is located in Oxford PA, “an hour west of Philadelphia (between Philly and B’more) just at the edge of rural ‘Amish Country'”.  It was founded and run by artists Shelley Thorstensen, who “has expertise in all printmaking techniques, specializing in hand pulled color multi-print media”.

The studio is divided into three sections, a silkscreen area, the press room, and the processing room. All of the spaces are well lit and ventilated, so well ventilated that you could not smell a trace of solvent. Every inch of the space was considered for function by Shelley and custom build by Dale Baggerley, making PMOF one of a kind.

Check out some of the photos we got from the visit.
