Brandywine has partnered with the Atlanta based firm Giving Seed to offer an innovative way for people all over the country to support Brandywine WITHOUT WRITING A CHECK or making a direct purchase from Brandywine. The goal is creating sustainable, incremental revenue streams for nonprofits. For Brandywine, it means a way of attracting broad national support from those who value our services and support of national interests such as artists, collectors, patrons, educators and general arts enthusiasts. The program relies upon shoppers of online stores that dedicate a portion of their online sales (products or services) to Giving Seed, which is partnered with various nonprofits who then receive 60% of actual funds contributed. Over 110 online stores are available to choose from. Just 250 registered shoppers spending $300 annually will generate $8,000 in cash contributions to Brandywine.
A Special Invite
The best way to raise substantial sums is to have a marketing strategy that is persistently implemented and expanding on a regular basis with special promotions and partnerships with support groups. By engaging the support of groups (Friends Chapters, collector groups, sororities, fraternities, social and other membership organizations) Brandywine proposes to expand the program rapidly to involve thousands of individuals nationally. We will target special promotions to encourage their collective participation as group members with rewards and incentives based upon the level of support from a particular region. These may include seasonal (vacation travel, Christmas, tax season, back –to school and college) and opportunities to support local artists, acquire original prints and/or donations benefiting a local institution or charity.
