Join us to celebrate Libby Newman: Peace exhibition in our glass lobby gallery.

The exhibition will feature an installation of eight new mixed-media collages by Philadelphia-based artist Libby Newman. A reception in honor of the artist who has had a long and distinguished career as government arts advocate, arts administrator, and founding director of the University City Sciences Center will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 5:30–8:00 PM

Ms. Newman’s new works combine image and words and are being presented as part of the BWA installation Words to Wall II: Peace, a series of collaborative prints using the writings of authors and poets. This installation is presented as a program of the Philly Loves Poetry celebration sponsored jointly with Moonstone Poetry Center throughApril 17.
