2009 Membership Invitation
Brandywine Friends
As a result of decades of outreach to art communities around the country and service to artists, educators and collectors, Brandywine Workshop is supported by a growing number of support groups in major cities. We invite you to join our growing local group of supporters (southeastern Pennsylvania, northern Delaware and southern New Jersey) or become a member of national affiliates. Current Friends chapters include Washington, DC-Baltimore, New York City and Philadelphia. Organizing efforts are underway in San Francisco-Oakland, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago and Detroit.
Chapters are designed to provide national financial support for Brandywine programs and increase print collecting audiences. They also support artist-patron groups in their local efforts to provide educational experiences for collectors and support for outreach to local artists and youth.
Historically, Brandywine has shared exhibitions and conducted several art soirées (Atlanta, Washngton, DC, New Orleans, Dallas, San Antonio, Los Angeles, Oakland and Houston) in conjunction with local collector clubs, galleries or cultural institutions. The Workshop has also sponsored artists from most major cities as visiting artists in residence and hosted exhibitions in Philly such as the American Cities Series Houston (2007), Detroit (2008), and Atlanta (2009).
